About Shuttlebee Charter
Built by people
who can’t be late.
“The one thing a shuttle has to do is show up.”
Kristina Fahl, Founder & CEO
Shuttlebee started in student transportation, where a late van means a child standing on a curb. For five years our founder, Kristina Fahl, ran an award-winning student transportation company and then led operations at Bus.com, working with more than a thousand operators across North America. The habits from that work (walk the route, stage the backup, watch every van, confirm the night before) are the whole product.
Shuttlebee Charter brings those habits to weddings and events in Greater Philadelphia with a small, electric fleet: 3 electric Ford Transit vans, named drivers, and one dispatcher on every booking. We went electric because the vans are quiet at a ceremony and clean at a hotel entrance, and because a wedding should not leave a diesel cloud in the photos. We stayed small on purpose. 3 vans is enough to move about 81 guests an hour on a 20-minute loop, and small enough that we know every van, every driver and every venue drive by heart.
The technology underneath (live tracking, guest ETAs, rider check-in, the planner dashboard) is the same platform Shuttlebee built for school and medical transportation, where it is held to a higher standard than any wedding will ask of it.
